Support FVRC of Chatham County
What kind of world would ours be if more institutions had as their stated goal to “promote peaceful homes, build safe communities, and empower individuals and families to heal from domestic and sexual violence?”
Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services’ approach to community support through intervention and education is exactly the type of caring organization any growing region needs to bridge gaps in our society’s legal and social fabric while stabilizing the most important asset of any community – the family.
Since 1982, FVRC has changed thousands of lives, stepping in to protect, heal, and educate, breaking cycles of violence and neglect and providing hope and light to families that had known all too much despair and darkness.
Celebrating the unifying, creative spirit of expression through art and music while providing much needed funding for such a worthy cause is what the Chatham Mills Art and Music Festival is all about. Artists, musicians, and entrepreneurs have joined forces to bring an evening of performance, illustrative, and sculptural art for a nominal price of admission to benefit FVRC in all it does.
100% donations of planning, effort, and performances on the parts of all the musicians will entertain attendees as a catered spread stimulates their palates.
20% of all art sales will go to support the cause as will 100% of admission fees.
Come support the fabric of our community – become an even more important thread in life’s tapestry than you ever imagined by supporting Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services with your attendance at the First Annual Chatham Mills Art and Music Festival.
